People do not understand how dangerous this El Niño is going to be. I understand that you might’ve been told 1,000,000× oh this is gonna be the worst thing ever this is gonna be the worst thing ever this is gonna be OK. I get that. I understand that I’ve been there. But as somebody who actually does study the weather and actually is watching the wind and watching the Climate shit is getting really bad all over the planet. You think that those waves are gonna stay hitting the side eventually that water is gonna raise, especially when the glaciers melt. If you don’t know what the doomsday glacier is, you need to look it up. There’s a reason why we’re getting an El Niño this bad and it’s not just gonna affect our summer. It’s gonna affect our winter severely. Look at what’s happening in Nepal look at what’s happening in China. Look at the typhoons that are happening in Asia. Please stop just doom scrolling and actually look at what’s going on in the world.

Growing up watching people getting swept off the rock jetty by Morro Rock really showed me that people don't understand or respect the ocean. I watched a guy drive his brand new fancy truck out there and lose it at the next big wave.
