I've found that Yes sir, No sir, and Have a good day officers are way easier than all that. I've even gotten away with a Dang, That sucks when they have given me a ticket. Last time I got pulled over the cops asked me to step out. I did, got frisked and ended up sitting in the police car because I didn't have my driver's license on me. Got away with a warning. I do enjoy my WP.
