@virgogemco: Day 2 - Shop Like a Dealer at the Denver Gem and Mineral Show. We did a lot today but as usual, my favorite finds are from my vendors from the one and only Jalisco, Mexico 🇲🇽 This family has been passing down their art over generations - respecting their indigenous roots and helping me practice my terrible Spanish (I am trying). What I learned this year - the larger pieces of rainbow are running out so if you want a statement piece - get it this year or next. The son started taking on carving free forms- he is slower but more detailed and focused on smaller pieces - which is great because they are way more budget friendly. This family is kind. We've discussed food, grief, healing, culture and so much more. They've shared their process, the land. They are Mi Corazon. Jason and I have always been intricately tied to Mexican minerals and it would mean the world to me, if you see them at the show - support them.
