@mysterywatchguy: The new Casio G-Shock 2500 Series is already getting a huge reaction, and I think this full-metal version might be the best one yet. This is the G-Shock GMC-2500D-1A2, combining Casio’s new fully analogue 2500 design with a stainless-steel bracelet, metal bezel and blue-grey dial. You still get the distinctive small-seconds subdial and three-position date display, but one of the most interesting features is Casio’s new Magnetic Holding Structure, designed to help protect the hour and minute hands from heavy impacts. It’s still unmistakably G-Shock too, with shock resistance, 200m water resistance, LED illumination and a 30-minute stopwatch. The new 2500 has already picked up the “CasioNaut” nickname online, but I think this blue full-metal model looks good enough without needing the comparison. For anyone looking at new Casio watches, G-Shock watches, affordable watches or new watch releases for 2026, this is definitely one to watch. Expected November 2026, with Japanese pricing at ¥49,500.
