OMG! I have a testimony from this video! 👏😏❤️A rare and remarkable survival after cardiac arrest due to refractory VF in a remote general hospital in Ethiopia. A 40-year-old man presented with ischemic chest pain and suddenly developed VF cardiac arrest. CPR and repeated defibrillation were started immediately. Because the arrhythmia was refractory and no standard antiarrhythmic medication was available, we used the locally available lidocaine preparation intended for local anesthesia as an alternative. After 5 cycles of CPR and defibrillation, ROSC was achieved. He was transferred to the ICU, successfully extubated on day 3, and later transferred to the ward.

Every time I’ve used Lido I’ve gotten ROSC 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️, sodium channel blocker does what it’s supposed to do
