Yep, rules changed to stop Storm winning. When Coates was plucking balls out of the air and scoring they discussed changing the rules to prevent it. Some think Storm are favoured, however it's absolutely the opposite.

I don’t think Garry is talking so much about the ruck speed, I think it’s more so the scrutiny over the contact. High tackles, etc.

So Graham just said they made a rule to combat one team? And the 6 again rule has gone on to ruin the game and make the refs control the game. I like how keary put it but refs are given an agenda and its quite clear the season.

This has been my argument forever - the refs have no feel for the game and don't seem to understand what is an accident and inevitable in a fast paced sport vs intentional or even careless.

Just have a look at the scorelines this year it is like a touch footy try for try mentality. Personally I've enjoyed local footy more than NRL this year because this 6 again debacle hasnt affected it keeping scores low and games closer.

giving a 6 again is an easier way out than blowing a full on penalty refs are more likely to give a 6 again
