That’s how I had prolonged labour when I was pregnant and the nurses there was like I should wait that I must give birth through VG…Naso I told them thunder fire unah!!! Naso I shouted on them na fast them bring Cs consent form and I signed immediately!!! And do u no the funny part is that 3days after my CS am em one of the nurses come Dey tell me”Nne thank God you opted for CS ooo that wen she checked my baby’s breathing that it was very low but she doesn’t know how to say it infront of me” Omohh 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️I just thank God for everything!!!… Nigerians if u see say u are having a prolonged labour please kindly pray within ur mind and opt of Cs oo save ur life and that of the baby

please if you are a first time mom. register in general hospital or any govt hospital. even if one health personnel is negligent at least you will be have many other professional around. I am so sorry dear. I don't see why they should let you labour for 4days o. nobody suggested CS

@OMA lifestyle: The hospital that I gave is a private hospital,and also the doctor works in teaching hospitals as well so his not always around,although I didn’t know,the day I was induced they called him to come emergency ,I guess that’s was the reason why he had to induce me again then asked the nurses to be monitoring me the only communicate on phone calls I was not allowed to speak with him,and for the cs he said he can’t do it alone the doctor that was supposed to help out was also booked the actual day that I was supposed to go for the cs I gave birth that morning

I was induced 3times daily for three days to soften my cervix but still yet it didn't pass 2cm I was in active labor with pains prayers tire for me self.i requested for cs the third day cause I felt like I was going then prepared everything for cs immediately I was about to be pushed to theater I had a push and boom my baby's head was out and I delivered with mideolateral tear God was indeed grateful my baby was fine and healthy

Omo!! The second day, you should have told them you wanted to get something from someone outside and run as far as ur legs can carry you to a better hospital. Some private hospitals are being run by Morons. They don’t care about their patients. The Doctor that promised me that he’d be available during my delivery disappeared on me. He left me in the hands of some middle wives that were calling him on phone to ask what they’re supposed to do next. If I didn’t deliver my baby that night, I would have left that hospital or start calling my family members that they had kidnapped me if they stopped me.

u should hv asked for options after e second day .. CS is always best im times like this...sorry...with mine after 12hours of labour the doctor came in bashing e midwives....I thank God for him for cming through for my son.he cn out with breathing problem n put in NICU for 2weeks ..he passed all his milestone but seizures dealt with him but with God he is very fine n healthy...he is 3years now n I will choose C's anyway for all my kids

Please as pregnant women we should try to make research about pregnancy and if possible try and follow professional doctors who speak about pregnancy on social media. So you can easily post red flags when in labour or during pregnancy.

I have seen a lot of pregnant women reject caesarian section when suggested by doctors with reasons being either they want to deliver by themselves or their husband's don't agree or it's Family that is against it some even says their pastors don't agree to it. so tell me who is to be blamed when complications arises. Stop blaming health workers for everything sometimes there is more to what we see or hear

It’s good to change hospitals when you notice anything fishy. During my first pregnancy, the first hospital I used had just one doctor on seat attending to more than 50 preggy women. I was quite disturbed in my spirit. It’s such a long story but las las I changed hospital at 9 months and immediately the new hospital found out I had High BP and two days later it turned to Pre-eclampsia. If you see the way I was rushed to the theatre, this was by 5pm January 6( new year). That hospital had doctors that rushed to the hospital. If you are pregnant and you notice that the hospital has just one or two doctors RUN for your life
