She was so beautiful too. With early intervention, a team of doctors and medical staff, and effort, Lacey could be in her 40’s, maybe she’d be an artist, a writer, a doctor, an activist, she could have had a wife or husband, children, a cat or dog, bought her first car, traveled to other countries. These parents are fcking sick man.

my memory care client quite literally cannot move so we move them, there is no other option. you have to find a way and there are plenty. they know damm well its their fault but still divert blame onto the victim

I can say when I at like fifteen sixteen was twenty pounds shy of one hundred I couldnt fight back against ANYONE because I was so malnourished at the time. there's no way Lacey was fighting them that hard.

I have never seen the pictures, just heard the very basics of the story, and it still haunts me. Lacey deserved better. The fact that she was seemingly just left there for *years* while they just lived around her. I cannot even imagine. 🥺

I tell you EVERYONE was genuinely upset about the sentence. Her house was around 15 minutes from mine. I never met her family since we only moved here in 2015.

my dad wouldve thrown me into the tub and told me to clean myself up. he legit got me to use deodorant and shower daily by constantly saying I stunk (which I did, I was at the age where deodorant becomes necessary). my mom would've been taking me to a Dr or something.

SHE WAS AUTISTIC AND DECLINING AS SHE AGED!!! they just didnt want to have to take care of her so they neglected and abused her and she gave up. she literally couldnt take care of herself if she wanted to so they let her go to the bathroom on herself and stopped feeding her and let her melt into their couch. dont look her up because the photos will haunt you forever
