Our Leavenworth police officers are amazing and they really do care. We are so used to people in need or homeless so someone was really just concerned. Mental health is a big thing in this town. 💖

Great example of a welfare check and I'm glad they were able to touch base with you to make sure you're all good. Not unusual for people to call in a check the welfare to make sure whomever is okay. Unfortunately some welfare checks end w finding someone not having a great day or worse, no longer living. Thankful for good officers showing genuine concern for their citizens. Plus, it's nice to see officers get out of the patrol car and conversation with people. It costs nothing to be kind. Well done ladies.
