🎃 IT’S PUMPKIN SPICE SEASON 🎃 And no, we’re not talking about your latte. This before was a faded, washed-out auburn. She wanted more dimension, more richness, and a much more vibrant copper… but she did NOT want to bleach her natural hair. Enter: Pumpkin Spice Medusa Wefts. 🤌 Instead of lightening her natural hair to manufacture dimension, I used the extensions to CREATE it. Here’s the full formula because this one turned out way too good not to share: NATURAL HAIR Pravana 7N + 7CC + 7CR, equal parts, with 10 volume. Processed the full 40 minutes. The N in the formulation + keeping her at 10 volume were really important here. I wanted richness and vibrancy without creating a hot root or pushing her too orange. PUMPKIN SPICE EXTENSIONS While her natural color processed, I root-dragged the extensions with the same 7N + 7CC + 7CR formulation and processed for 15 minutes. Then I glazed the mids and ends with Pravana 7CR + 10 volume for another 15 minutes. While the extensions dried, I rinsed her natural hair and glazed it with 7CR + 10 volume for 20 minutes. And THIS is why I love working with a shade like Pumpkin Spice. Her natural hair was slightly deeper, so instead of trying to force it lighter to create dimension, I let that depth work for me. Pumpkin Spice already has that gorgeous copper foundation, so the 7CR simply intensified it to exactly where I wanted it. Once everything was installed and blended together… absolutely breathtaking. 🔥 This is such a good example of thinking beyond “extensions = longer hair.” Extensions can be your color palette. More copper. More dimension. More impact. Without a single piece of her natural hair seeing bleach. Pumpkin Spice season has officially arrived. 🎃✨ Shop Medusa Wefts.@Courtney Marie Morris
