I used to watch this a long time ago and I knew and understood brick I hated his parents because I always knew brick deserved to be treated like a part of the family.

We hadn’t seen my mom for a few years because she moved to Australia. When she got stuck in the Philippines in 2020, I stayed with them in Taytay before they went back. For my birthday, I only asked her to make her Chicken Parmigiana, that she always brag about that it’s her specialty, but on the day of my birthday she said she had a migraine and slept all day. My partner ended up making my birthday special instead (which my partner always does 💕). She only woke up when everything was prepared and she will just have her dinner. 😂 A week later, she made Chicken Parmigiana for my sister’s birthday, even though she never asked for it, and acted like nothing had happened. (Nothing against my sister ah) hahahaha

When I was turning 20 my mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday, the only think I really wanted was a caramel apple pie. I didn’t want a gift or a cake or to be taken out I just wanted the pie. Well my birthday came and I went to work and I got home around 8pm. I went into the kitchen didn’t notice the pie or see any ingredients so I asked my mom if she hadn’t gone to the store yet. She told me she was too exhausted and didn’t want to make the pie that day. My mom didn’t work and the house was in the same state that I left it. The following day I went and bought ingredients to make my own pie and when I got home my mom told me I was emotionally manipulating her and she took my ingredients and made the pie. It was a really good pie but I still think of that
