In my 45 doctor ( many btw) told me I have fibroid and its 3 cm, i asked to remove but they told me it is ok, just observe and in menopause it will shrink. Now I am 55 , it reach 11 cm and now they are offering to remove it, but to remove all together with my ovaries and uterus. Why… WHY ??? Was easier to remove one piece, in stead of whole thing and leave me with huge scar and horrible pain!!!!!

I had three surgeries at once. Tubes tied- removal of fibroid and ablation of uterine wall so i don’t bleed. My fibroid returned after first surgery. Thats why I had the ablation.
