They might as well name it HookTok, it’s not anymore about the content itself. Look at the terms used, hook, rage bait, comment bait, scroll stopper. Everyone is building their content around that rather than building value content. Creators always complain about the algorithm, yet they themselves are the ones who ruined it doing what they do.

When you think of a hook as well, think of the person who's going to be interested and why they should stop scrolling, curiosity hooks work really well I've found.
