I dont remember what book it was but I wish they put in how cups of tea kept showing up outside Harry's door and he thinks theyre a trap but its actually Dudley just trying to be nice 😭 hurts my heart he was just a boy too growing up in a toxic household as well and still trying to be kinder even with no one to show him how

also, the detail of him stepping on the perfectly manicured grass with a fence around it. amazing symbolism of stepping on his dad's perfectly manicured lifestyle where no one different was allowed in. .. or out. i love this scene. i wish it had made it in.
