Did you see how many cool clips you have of awesome activities you did with your kids? Couldn’t have those if you weren’t right there doing it with them. You matter, having your own things matters, and it will teach them so much about how to be themselves and how important they are as they grow. Don’t listen to the negativity in your own head

i’m not even a mum and even i actually want to say thank you for this. i can’t wait to be a mum one day but sometimes it can be scary especially seeing such high expectations on social media surrounding motherhood. so thank you. you putting you first IS you putting your kids first. they live in you mumma🥰🥰

Indy you just played an entire clip of you actively doing things with your kids! 🥰 But girl you keep it so real. I’m not a mom and don’t want to be but I love your realistic mom content. So many moms on here try to sell you the dream like their kids are just accessories to a picture perfect life but it’s not real and probably leaves a lot of new moms really sad it doesn’t look or feel like someone’s curated page. Babe we're literally supposed to be able to soak up these young years with our babies it's nature's course. BUT we literally can't, society expects us to be full-time working mums, fulltime mums, keep the house going, remember all the appointment and events, prioritize one on one time with them. As well as keep up with our health, hobbies and marriages as well. It's so fkn hard at times but as said above the mothers that can take a step back and reflect and feel these things are generally the good mums. ❤️

Here’s the thing, I don’t always put my kids first either. And I think that’s ok. Sometimes I put work first, sometimes my hobbies, sometimes my marriage, the housework… i don’t think there’s anything wrong with that!

My mom had a big career when I was growing up. And as a young adult I call her all the time for advice in my own career. And I feel so blessed that I have her to call. ❤️

Some people pretend they are perfect, they are normally the ones struggling internally….. it’s ok to feel like you’re not doing your best from time to time! You’re still an amazing mum no matter what, the kids are bathed, fed, and loved so deeply!

I hate that people feel so comfortable leaving such horrid negative comments. you're damned if you do & damned if you don't. people want authenticity on this app but rip you to shreds if it's not a mirror image of their life or how they would parent. Oh & God forbid you have a neurodivergent child who struggles with receiving basic needs, you're now the worst parent in the world because they don't want their hair brushed or to wear shoes, even though you are actually putting your child's needs above society's need to see a perfect child.
