I think people are missing the point.. “it’s not that relevant anymore, they’re Chinese, blah blah blah” I’m sorry it’s not on your usual Fridays, but they still have to market. Some families spend that day remembering loved ones, and Hoyo understands they have many fans in America who were directly affected by that day. They changed the date so more people would have the chance to watch the live on a regular day!

Honestly I like how Hoyo changed it so it’s not on 9/11. People who complain about this fr needs to remember what happened that day—it was a HUGE tragedy that impacted America and some families want to take that day to respect and remember their loved ones that passed during that event; and because of this, some people may not be able to watch the livestream together with others.

i think ppl font realize how much of an effect 9/11 had WORLDWIDE, yes it was an american tragedy but u had russia sending condolences of all things and it also fundamentally changed how security, specifically airport security, worked in virtually every country. every plane crossing over, going to, or leaving from america was grounded.

Hey so just because it's a Chinese company doesn't mean they can't be considerate of their audience in other countries. If anything them moving the livestream shows that they are doing that. 9/11 was a very real tragedy that killed thousands of people, no matter who you blame for it. No one is making Hoyoverse change the date. They're choosing to do it on the 12th out of respect. And if you have a problem with it, please ask yourself why a video game live stream is more important than thousands of people who were killed/injured in a terrorist attack and their families.
