I just listened to a podcast where he talks about this and he said it is false when people say that you will have a feeling of peace and calmness if it is from God and the right decision because those are your feelings and we can get ourselves in trouble when we move with feelings versus when something is truly from God. When we are making decisions, sometimes he wants us to be vulnerable and unsure, and it puts us in a position to rely on him and trust him. Just because you're leaning into a feeling of peace does not mean it comes from him. Everything we are doing should be for the glory of God and we need to look at our decisions on if it is something that is going to glorify God not just make us feel peaceful.
