the serial number is tied to a blacklisted product. you cant buy parts for it or get it fixed without a valid serial number. rewiring it does NOTHING.

Wrong. Theyre getting a replacement under mfg warranty and in order to receive it, the company’s policy is to make sure the power cord is snipped.
