the loneliness is the hardest part. getting used to just you and no one else. It feels nice to have your energy back, but you miss when they were in your world. when life went by with them. Then you start to feel the peace in just being with you. even when you still miss them. you know this is better. holding yourself together will always be better.

I was asking for less than the bare minimum. 15 minutes Mon-Thurs to pick up the house. I work a stressful job. 40 hrs a week. he was part-time 20 hrs a week and he couldn't even step up and be the partner I needed. He also didn't/doesn't drive so I was responsible for all the things that go along with it as well. I needed to take care of myself because I lost myself after 11 years by putting his needs first. He is moving out tomorrow and it rips me apart because I still love and care for him.
