For athletes (especially in barefoot sports) with achilles pain or Severs, it can help make running, jumping, and practice feel less painful. While it isn’t changing the tendon or growth plate itself, the sensory input from the tape can help decrease pain sensitivity, making activities feel a bit better for some athletes. Will it fix the problem? Nope.
