No matter how many facts... No matter how many per reviewed studies.. They will ALWAYS have an excuse.

Schooling starts at home. I’ve known people who went to some of the worst schools and still went on to become more successful than people who attended some of the best. The biggest difference isn’t always the school it’s the values, discipline, work ethic, and support they were raised with at home.

When teachers have to spend more time dealing with behavior issues they have less time being able to actually teach. There’s also a difference when a school has active positive parent involvement.

The school system is broken from the top down to the parents. The school will never let anyone get left back anymore so they just pushed through kids that can’t read and understand basic mathematics and the parents just don’t care. They look at the schools now as day cast where their kids get free lunches, and whatever else they get out of it. parents need to hold the schools accountable for teaching their kids the right way and get involved and the schools gotta stop pushing the kids through if they’re not ready to go to the next grade and teaching them correctly everybody has to care and the problem is nobody cares in the school system. You have a few teachers that probably care, but you can’t beat school system, and then parents that don’t even care about their kids education so in these to start from the top all the way down to the very bottom most teachers that care a handcuff because no matter what they do and the parents are gonna care

nope :
how about... you give children 15k a year in an investment account from kindergarten though senior year... the student can decide where to spend that money if they want to at all. give it to them to purchase a first home or college etc.

Always an excuse “they need to spend more money on the inner city schools” why? It doesn’t matter if the kids don’t have parents that are enforcing education at home

The education of the kids in public and private schools is hard to define. However, the character of the students produced in private schools will never be matched.

I worked my first job out of social work school in the lower east side and Harlem schools. The teachers were amazing. The kids had so many social and emotional issues and many parents didn’t medicate the kids consistently and were very uninvolved in the child’s education. It was a perpetual cycle of poverty. It wasn’t the schools and the teachers. Sorry.

this is very little to do with the actual facts of the educational system and more so the fact of parents involvement and income level
