H.E Architect Barnabas Bala Bantex Deputy Governor of Kaduna state (2015-2019) under Nasiru El-Rufai was a well-regarded technocrat and politician from southern Kaduna who was elected Local Government Chairman twice and also served as an elected Representative at Nigeria’s National Assembly. In this interview I had with him in 2018, he tried to put the much talked about southern Kaduna crises into perspective, giving a wholistic picture of what was happening across Kaduna state, rather than the self-serving narrow focus on Southern Kaduna.
