Arsenal are the only prem club where their fans absolutely refuse to believe that they could ever get preferential treatment. If it was any other club that this happened to, most of their fans would be saying “fairs, we got away with it”. I could genuinely imagine Gabriel drop kicking someone in the chest, not get a red and their fans would still defend him and try to give reasons as to why it shouldn’t be a red

Where is the consistency? Curtis Jones kicks the ball, his foot bounces off the ball and connects with the opponents leg. Ref gives a free immediately and a yellow card. VAR intervenes and its changed to a straight red. Gabriel tries to kick the ball. his foot bounces off it and connects with the opponents head. No free, no card, no VAR. You couldn't get 2 more opposite outcomes for 2 similar incidents.
