It's fun to see men feel like this about Nora cuz as a woman who played as Nora watching Nathan get his dome vented and there was nothing I could do had me -heated-. Like, yeah I wanna find my son, but also I wanted revenge; every playthrough I do, no matter what, I keep their ring with my character. So when this moment happened, I was like, "...what we're -not- gonna do is talk about your father like he didn't matter." I wish their was a mod to bury your spouse properly

Yeah, it really does make Shaun one of the worst characters in game, but it also does it's job in crushing whatever 'reuniting with your son's fantasy the player had. The boy you thought your son could've been didn't get a chance to exist, and instead has been molded into the perfect scientist who will go the lengths in the name of research no matter what.
