Hi Hiccapop!!! i’m a first time single mom due in october with my sweet rainbow baby boy 🌈🤍 this pregnancy has been one of the hardest seasons of my life. i’ve been navigating a high-risk pregnancy while also dealing with so much emotional trauma and heartbreak from my son’s dad. i was ultimately left to navigate so much of this pregnancy on my own. there were appointments I went to alone, nights I cried myself to sleep, and so many moments where i wished i had the support i thought i would have. but through all of it, my baby has shown me a strength I never knew I had. 🥺🤍 i kept showing up for him, even on the days i felt like i was falling apart. i finished my last semester of undergrad while pregnant, and we crossed that stage together when i received my bachelor’s degree!!! one day, i hope my son grows up knowing that no matter how hard things became, his mom never stopped choosing him. i may be doing this without his dad by my side, but i will continue doing everything i can to give my sweet boy the life he deserves. just me and him. 🤍 anything from my registry would mean more to us than i could put into words. thank you for creating such a beautiful opportunity for mamas who are doing their best, and so much love to every mama navigating motherhood alone. we truly are superheroes. 🥺🌈🤍 here’s our registry: https://my.babylist.com/baby-reg-desirea-rodriguez

i have a few videos up on my tiktok page 🥹🙏🏼🩷 - i’ve been really caught up with my daughter and going back and forth to the nicu the last few days but i wanted to take the time to comment again - im trying not to give up hope. i can’t even begin to explain how much this would bless my family. we werent expecting to have her 4 weeks early and we had no idea about her growth restriction until my 36 week growth scan. we thought we still had a few weeks left to work and get the last few things we needed and to save for my unpaid leave. but now we are in a position of being paychecks shorter than we anticipated and having a whole new list of items we never originally thought we’d need now that we had her early and she was only 3lbs 10oz 🥺 anything bought would be such a relief financially and just mentally as we are stretched so thin right now between going back and forth between the nicu and home with our 2 year old son. my link is in my bio🤍

It’s very true that there is more happiness in giving than receiving 💗 The kindness that this #babylistitforward movement has shown to all of us expecting moms is amazing! We would love to be considered. My husband and I will both be taking unpaid time off once the baby is here, and any help with our registry means possibly having more than a few days/1 week off to help while we still carry on school routines, etc. for our school aged kiddos.
