The city is fully closing the Red Hill Valley Parkway between Mud and Barton from 10pm on Thursday September 17 until 5am Monday September 21. They're knocking out a pile of work in one shot: re-banking the tight curve between King and Greenhill, new asphalt, potholes, guardrails, lighting and sign repairs. A lot of this ties back to the $28 million inquiry into the road's surface. Signed detours will be up and HSR buses are being rerouted, so give yourself extra time on the surrounding roads that weekend.
