The gon on the right chose to go down the public path, eventually becoming enveloped in their evil energy and becoming corrupted. The gon on the left chose the ranked path, fighting people of his skill and higher in isolation, evolving their skills until they themself became gold to represent their sainthood. As the two come across each others paths the corrupted gon laid eyes on the golden gon instantly becoming jealous and lashed out which killed golden gon, blinded by envy and wrath they take the ranked path in a desperate attempt to reach the divine status of golden gon.
