Trucking runs in the family — both his dad and grandad were drivers, and he followed them into the industry at a young age. He explains that he passed his HGV tests at around 19, progressed onto Class 1 and has been driving professionally ever since. When Darren asks whether he'd recommend HGV driving to other people, his answer is clear — he loves the job and says he wouldn't want to do anything else. But perhaps the best description of trucking came from his dad.
