probably not. a lot of people didn't buy the iphone air because there's no reason to so why would they? I could see apple adopting a similar design like with the camera bar and stuff so it kinda matches with the 17 pro

I think that would be a good idea as long as they drop the air name, give it bright colors and make it less thin so they can fit in a better battery, dual camera and dual speakers

If it has a good battery, the bottom speaker it was missing, an ultra wide and good zoom, and doesent get hot I’d trade my 17 pro max for it.

Makes sense. The base iPhone doesn't have a lot to improve tbh. The Air was positioned as their new "Luxury" alternative since the pro version now comes in aluminum and is directed at actual video and photo professionals. The new luxury item would be the folding iPhone, and the base model would be like the MacBook Air and iPad Air: The model for everyone
