The issue that bothers me—and I am a Saudi from the Hijaz—is that everyone thinks Palestine is Arab, and that they are Semitic. They are not from the lineage of Sam (Shem)! The original Semites and Arabs are only from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the Gulf. Even Yemenite Jews are Arabs who converted to Judaism in ancient times—not all of them, but some were from the tribes, haha! As for Palestine, it is Canaanite, and it was conquered by the people of the Hijaz through the Islamic conquests. Palestine and Jordan are purely Canaanite, though Jordan's government is Arab. The Levant nations are not Arab, but their language and culture became Arab, and the same goes for Iraq and Africa. They are not Arabs from an ethnic standpoint, but rather Arabs through Islamic conquests and culture.
