@fitness4116: If you want abs that actually look trained, treat them like every other muscle — give them resistance, good technique, recovery, and something to progressively improve. 👀🔥 You don’t need 10 random ab exercises every day. A few movements done consistently and with control will take you much further. Some of my favorites from this post: Cable crunches → one of the easiest ways to progressively overload your abs. Think about bringing your ribs toward your pelvis instead of simply folding at the hips. Hanging knee raises → don’t just lift your knees. Curl your pelvis upward at the top so your abs are actually doing more of the work instead of letting the hip flexors dominate. Ab wheel rollouts → amazing for anti-extension strength. Brace hard, keep your ribs down, squeeze your glutes, and only roll as far as you can control without your lower back taking over. Weighted decline crunches → simple, effective loaded spinal flexion. Start light, control the lowering portion, and add weight gradually once the rep range becomes easy. Reverse crunches → another great option for practicing posterior pelvic tilt. Focus on curling your pelvis off the bench rather than swinging your legs toward your chest. A simple way to structure your ab training: Choose 2–3 movements that cover loaded flexion, a pelvic-curl/leg-raise pattern, and anti-extension work. Train them around 2–3x per week, progress your reps and control, then gradually add resistance or range of motion. And an important reminder: training abs can make the abdominal muscles stronger and more developed, but it can’t selectively burn fat from your stomach. How visible your abs are also depends heavily on overall body-fat levels, genetics, nutrition, and your total activity. So instead of doing endless crunches hoping to “burn belly fat,” build the muscle and focus on the bigger picture. 💪 Save this for your next core workout. 🤍 📲 Workit App helps you stay consistent with your workouts, track your progress, and build a routine you can actually stick to. #absworkout #coreworkout #abtraining #gymgirl #strengthtraining
