My little brother is a Hafiz, yet he tells me I’m his go-to person when it comes to digging deep into nuances and putting thoughts together. I’ve yet to meet a man who has genuinely managed to get me interested in having a deep conversation. Sometimes it’s not that the other person in this case, the woman is superficial; rather, the man simply isn’t interested in hearing her thoughts or truly listening to what she has to say. I find it especially funny when I come across men who try to lecture me using Qur’anic verses they don’t even know properly, and when I correct the wording of the verse, they get triggered because their minds can’t comprehend the possibility of a woman knowing more than they do.
