Tbh it really depends on the context. If they're really dancing boompala or doing its intro, then it's not mocking. They may got confused about the hand sign (most idols did it wrong btw). It's only mocking when they did it randomly (not doing the boompala trend/intro) and if their intentions were in a joking way which is still mocking. This applies to every other idols who got mistaken mocking desis when they're just actually doing the boompala intro! :)) But of course, remember to hold you favs accountable if they actually mocked desis.
