Through sounds like threw but rough sounds like ruff not rew….. but borough DOES have the burrow sound, same spelling but different sound….. also Read & Red are the same exact sound but mean completely different things……Make it all make sense- you have to just know it to speak it - it’s a live and learn language that cannot be taught fluently without actually being in the country because there are so many broken rules- I understand the frustration, maybe it’s a sign for us to learn a new language- maybe i will give Spanish a try, I could actually use it around here too
