This is anecdotal, but I am familiar with medical professionals who've told me they've had white patients who are very sick, some terminal who have refused to go on Obamacare. Choosing death instead.

my dad has been consuming increasingly fringe, right wing media since the late 1990s. he will be 80 next year, and every member of his family, including myself, holds him at a great distance. it is simply unbearable to deal with a person whose mind has been warped by these things. I talked to him maybe once every 60 to 90 days and that's all I can bear.

In Florida, maga refused fema agents trying to help them after a hurricane often threatening them with guns. Vaccine paranoia also has taken them down. MAGA would refuse ventilators to their last breath believing covid was a hoax.

I worked at a group home with disabled adults (Down's Syndrome, Severe Autism, etc.) Every White client managed to be racist to the one Mexican client. It was really sad.

Thank you for your truthful posting. It's sad to see people that you considered had a moral compass and a decent degree of intelligence being swept up in the Fox propaganda. They believe it more than they believe the Bible. There's absolutely no reasoning with them, they are truly convinced that what Fox is saying is the truth ... for no other reason than it validates their bigotry, misogyny, and their greediness..... and if the truth hurts. it should!
