A virtual currency is not legal tender though. There big things that are on the horizon for XRP, but I do not see this happening.

how about this thesis, reevaluate gold, whether it's sold or used as collateral now you use that dollar amount for the government to invest in xrp knowing that the price is going to go through the roof. we've already had multiple statements including from Trump that maybe they would use crypto to help Wipe Out the debt. so why not invest in something that you know is going to go up manytime versus gold. example say xrp goes up 10 times or 100 times in the next 5 years would gold do the same? absolutely not.
