@tilscience: Back in 2023, a mile underground, in a tank of the purest xenon on Earth, something hit a single atom in a way physicists can’t explain. Scientists checked it, re-checked it, and it still won’t go away. If it’s real, it points to a dark matter particle far heavier than anyone expected. If it’s not, it’s one of the strangest false alarms in the history of searching for dark matter. Not Dark Matter the show, although I heard it’s very good. We believe it’s there. But we could just not understand physics properly. Hence why we haven’t detected it yet. When need to stop saying dark matter has been proven.
