Wasn't paying attention when nearly £1 million in dividends found their way to his brother Andrew. Wasn't paying attention when a £124,337 dividend paid to his brother was later investigated by the liquidator as potentially unlawful. Wasn't paying attention when his financial advisers set up an Isle of Man trust for him. Wasn't paying attention when his shares in his own company were transferred into it. Wasn't paying attention when this offshore trust ended up owning a sizeable chunk of his company. Although... 🤔 He must have been paying attention at least once, because apparently his advisers recommended the trust and he went ahead with it. Then, when the whole thing came to light, Nigel said it was a “mistake”. Bless him. 😂 So, by Nigel's current standard of “I wasn't paying attention”: Company set up? Probably wasn't paying attention.
