these are very good reasons that I personally agree with. Me personally I don't see how a person can buy fake clothes from a designer they're inspired by, "yeah I like martin margielas pieces but I don't buy their real clothing". Most people buy replica clothing to lie to people that they have money which is ruining fashion these days.

I don't think people buy reps just for the hype, or because they want to show off that they have them. I think it has more to do with the price and the fact that not everyone can afford to spend 100 euros on a pair of pants.

Rep manufacturing is very close to true artisan pieces actually and no there not only repping mass produced goods. I’ve seen rep manufacturers make pieces that are unique 1 of 1 with true value but hey do what u want
