hey, big degrassi fan here! will be following! they actually did VERY briefly mention that Terri's dad transferred her to a private school. it was in the episode Mercy Street and I think it was Paige who said it. also Christina debunked the rumor that she wanted to leave! she actually was told by the showrunners that her story had run its course basically. I personally think that the writers didn't know/ didn't want to know how to write for characters like Terri and Hazel. hazel was my favorite character and she got one episode in season 2 and her other major storyline was being jealous of ellie and sabotaging Jimmy and that truly just makes me mad.

Her exit pissed me off so bad bc I wanted her to end up with Spinner or at the very least have a follow up from that storyline. Terri was always pretty to me no matter how hard they tried to manipulate us in thinking she wasn’t!

It was lowkey giving lazy writing to not wrap up Terri, felt like they just needed an excuse for Rick to easily come back to school. Also, I don’t think that people would have as much empathy for Rick if Terri was still at degrassi at the time of the shooting.
