I dug into it because the claim is circulating again right now. * There is no credible evidence that a 27-year-old “Agatha Bristol” worked at a Bakersfield sperm bank and stole/drank patient specimens. * There is no verified arrest, police report, court case, or statement from a Bakersfield fertility facility matching the story. * The exact same bizarre story was already circulating online in February 2023, including the name “Agatha Bristol,” the three-month employment claim, Bakersfield location, surveillance footage, and alleged drinking of samples. It was traced to a site described as a fake-news website. * Some of the images being passed around as evidence have also been identified as AI-generated. There’s also a major scientific red flag: legitimate sperm-bank specimens are generally cryopreserved in liquid nitrogen at about −196°C, rather than sitting in an ordinary refrigerator as the viral story describes. So the TikTok/Instagram post is basically an old internet hoax being recycled as if it were a new 2026 news story. The “325 comments” and huge engagement don’t make it any more legitimate.
