they changed the design. i was there in 1998 and the now parking lot was his arm and there was his upper torso n back of horse as well as horses mane and head was impressive

saw this almost 30 years ago and it was being worked, but still more of a dream and awesome concept at the time. Unfortunately the visitors Center had been vandalized the week before and I was in shock that anyone would do such a thing. Would love to go back and see the family's multi generational monument in it's full glory. Remarkably artistic creation!
