This map just puts Africa in the center and warps the more northern countries, this is what they proposed to the UN? Not the fact that the entirety of the continent has the lowest GDP per capita? (Obv excluding Antarctica) I get it, Africa is a big boy, a map is the least of their worries.

I grew up knowing maps was distorted and that Africa was in fact larger than presented but speaking for myself what it did didn't effect much of my judgement
