@ecomera: How do people who actually live in Vancouver spend a Sunday? Most weekends we leave the house with one goal: hit 10,000 steps. No itinerary. Usually no real plan at all. Vancouver tends to provide the plans if you’re willing to leave your house. Yesterday that meant heading toward Kits, finding food at @dlchicken, wandering the beach, stopping at @batchvancouver, watching @hightidesauna out on the water, making our way over to @granville_island Vancouver has a reputation for being one of the most expensive places to live in Canada, and it absolutely can be. But one of my favourite things about living here is that so much of what makes a day good is free. Walk the seawall. Go to the beach. Let the kids play. Wander. People watch. Find somewhere you’ve never been. Keep walking until you figure out where you’re having dinner.
