@shitanshudhakal1: 🚨 URGENT APPEAL | From Ayurveda and Alternative Hospital, Devighat, Bidur-3, Nuwakot Today I came to the Ayurved & Alternative Hospital to support the flood response and care as a medical doctor. This 25-bed facility is currently serving around 120 people as a holding centre, with a daily patient flow of approximately 140 and more than 30 staff working here. I came to know that several deceased bodies were brought here around five days ago for temporary storage, and they have still not been shifted yet. The decomposition and extremely pungent odour are now affecting patients, healthcare workers, and the surrounding community. This is an urgent call for timely proper, dignified and documented dead-body management at Ayurveda and Alternate Hospital, Devighat, Nuwakot, including timely identification and transfer to an appropriate facility. I humbly appeal to the Home Ministry, local authorities, police administration, and all concerned authorities to take immediate action. People affected by the floods deserve a safe place to heal. Devighat needs urgent attention.
