This is the most peaceful resort in the Carolina’s. It’s called @theswagnc and it’s a 250 acre property that backs up to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park - so the views are stunning! You are completely surrounded by nature. And my room was no different. It was cozy and rustic, yet refined, with stone floors, an outdoor shower, and a bathtub overlooking the forest. It was its own little sanctuary. 

But everything about @theswagnc was meticulously curated - they had a Grammy-winning banjo player performing. There was an interactive cocktail making class. Breakfasts on the patio were absolutely perfect with bacon and eggs and French toast, while dinner ranged from a BBQ buffet to a four course seated meal using the freshest seasonal ingredients. The soft shell crab was my favorite bite though.

There was also a small gym and a hot tub that was the perfect place to watch the sunset. Or for even deeper relaxation, the spa services were phenomenal. But nature is the biggest draw here.
