@Heidi: My aunts would do this. I thought it was strange when I was very young. But coming from my grandmother Kickapoo ancestors I believe a lot of things ..we have a Don(Spanish word) that runs in all the females in our family well at least some of us that know.

I live in an RV and in the bathroom, there are two mirrors, the face each other and one of those mirrors. I absolutely do not like the look.

This is just one of many reasons why my mirrors stay covered. Another is because at times I've seen faces in them and most I don't even know who it is so yes all my mirrors stay covered. No thanks.

I've covered my bedroom mirror ever since you said it could be used as a portal for unwanted "spirits" to come through at night. plus sometimes my own reflection would startle me. 😂
