No, not all zoos are forbidden. Zoos for entertainment and entrapment of animals is not allowed. BUT A zoo whose purpose includes protecting endangered species, breeding threatened populations, rehabilitation, scientific research or conservation are not just allowed but would be encouraged as they are taking care of animals and supporting them.
