@stvn.hearts.tat2s: I used to worry that losing weight would ruin my tattoos. Turns out, the tattoos themselves didn’t really “warp.” My body changed around them. Some sit differently, some gaps got smaller, and some tattoos that felt far apart are suddenly a lot closer together. After losing 70+ lbs., I think the bigger lesson was this: the tattoos weren’t the thing I needed to change. I was. I hid what I didn’t like under tattoos. Then I lost 75lbs and had a tummy tuck and absolutely dread covering what’s left 😅 wish I would have waited for the tattoos until after I got healthy.
