To save time, he stalled. Not his engine, the plane's ability to maintain lift. This appears to be a straight wing biplane. No dihedral or little dihedral doesn't allow them to fly very slowly and bank simultaneously.

It was my brothers house. I had just left there at 5 and boom he called me and told me a plane crashed in the side of his house. At about 6😳 thank God. It didn’t hit that 500gallon, propane tank with a couple of feet from where it crashed
